We have a new car, Yehey! Actually, it will be my husband’s new car.  He had to buy his own because our eldest daughter has to have her own car. She agreed to have the old Toyota because we thought it would be best and more rewarding if she will buy her first brand new car out of her own earnings.

Yeah, that is how we do it in the family. As much as possible we teach the children to save money to buy things they like. We do not make it easier for them because we believe they will value every item they have if they worked hard for it.

Well, enough of that family lessons, going back to the car. We decided to have the SUV type, he chose Toyota RAV4 and so far we have no problems with it. My only concern now is my husband, it had been years since he drove a brand new car and he is really excited like a child. He had endless plans on how to improve his SUV. First, he had a customized air intakes and I believe it is good for the fuel efficiency.  Next, he wishes to have custom wheels and rims but I doubt if I will give in because that would be too expensive for now. But, last weekend I agreed to have the wind deflector.

And that is the story of our new SUV, I just don’t know what he will buy soon.
